When to move seedlings to greenhouse?

I'm running out of space inside and would like to start moving some seedlings to the (unheated) greenhouse if possible. I'm in Hampshire and the greenhouse is in a pretty sheltered position, do you think it'll be ok to move onions (from seed), leeks and cauliflower to the greenhouse already?

    I would image

Just have some fleece ready in case of another really cold snap, but fingers crossed we'll be ok.

In my case the answer will be next weekend as soon as I finish putting the greenhouse up :)

I have the same problem Mrs Dangermouse, I moved mine out to the cold frame yesterday  as daytime temps are reaching 20 deg C on a regular basis. My Dahlia tubers are in there too. I just pop a fleece on at night to be on the safe side

Life's tragedy is that we get old too soon and wise too late.

  • Ok well the leeks and shallots are now in the greenhouse and hubby is very glad to have our windowsills back (for a while at least *lol*)
