Annual alyssum survived winter

cairnsiecairnsie Posts: 388

I have some alyssum which has survived winter. Do I replace it or will it flower well this year.

Thanks for any replies.

does it look as though it's making lots of new growth or just hanging on?

Lots of the plants we grow as annuals are really perennial but not very hardy or long-lived, allyssum may be one of these.

It looks really good and healthy. Ive moved house and it must be a bit milder here as more inner city. Normally they flower even sometimes partly through into December but normally die jan February. I'm growing some more but have been sorting the garden out today and didn't know whether to dig it out or leave it.

I'd leave it, you'll probably get some earlier flowers image
