Pinch out how many times?

Hi guys,

I have some Love in a mist and annual cornflowers. I know they will need pinching but how many times should I pinch? And when should i stop pinching?

    I've never pinched out any of mine. They self seed with me and I just let them do their own thiing.

    I find that those seedlings grown over winter with low light levels definitely need pinching to stop them being so leggy.
