I've bought a reasonably large pot of snow in summer.

If I divide it up, should I put the plants in pots for a while or straight into the ground?

In London. Keen but lazy.

If the soil is cold and wet I'd put it in pots for now and nurture it.  A friend of mine in Belgium with a dry, sunny bank had this stuff all over the place but every plant she gave me turned up its toes as my soil was richer but more importantly colder and wetter until much later on in summer.
