Plant suggestions for new pergola

Hi Guys. 

Over the winter I have constructed a pergola and this weekend I have put it in situte  

The pergola is is a part sun spot. I'm looking for advice and some recommendations on climbers I could put over the pergola. 

Having had a little search on the internet I'm thinking of the rose "wedding day" what do you guys think ? 

Any help would be much appreciated!!

    Are you going to be sitting down under the pergola? Do you want it to be shady? Are you looking for something evergreen? Or not fussed about any of that?

    I like rose new dawn mixed grown along side a clematis but I think it is all a matter of personal favourites.

    honeysuckles can look nice as well but for me you can't beat a climbing rose with big double flowers Mixed with the smaller flower of a clematis.

    To see a world in a grain of sand and heaven in a wild flower Hold infinity in the palm of your hand and eternity in an hour.

    The pergola is 12x8 ft. It will be used as a walkway leading to patio area. 

    I would like the pergola to be attractive with beautiful blooms ideally, scented would a bonus
