Hi Metalmama. First picture looks like a Saxifrage, second is a Heather, third looks like Euonymus but I'm not sure about the fourth shrub.

    Evening.

The first one is London Pride, Saxifraga × urbium. Somebody has identified it for me last year. Wonderful plant. This is how it looks in June:

  • Part two below.

Are these the same plant? One in gravel, other growing from a pot.

Sorry, have uploaded at an angle.image

1: is London pride (forgotten it's proper name)

    2: Heather

    3: variegated euonymus

4: not certain, maybe a viburnum tinus ????

The grass type plants do look similar.

I'm rubbish at grassy looking things. Have you tried tipping the potted one out to see if it's bulbs or just roots?

  • No I haven't but can do so tomorrow and update the post.
