water log
Hi Please could anyone give me some advice on how to make the drainage better in my garden. The bottom of my garden gets very wet, there is a wall to some empty land behind, this is around two bricks thick so there is nowhere for the water to drain, some one suggested I dig down and drill through and make drainage holes but I'm not sure any ideas would be appreciated

Hi Vickie rather than drilling holes in the wall I would dig a trench along the base of the wall.
Dig down about a foot deep and make it about a foot wide, put some debris in the bottom
and fill with your soil this should create better drainage.
This winter and spring has been so wet we are all suffering Its so wet in my garden I cannot
get in a first mow yet..
