I hate being in the garden in the cold at this time of the year so I turn to houseplant blogs and reading to satisfy my green fingered needs! These in particular I like and they're all updated quite regularly:
What a lovely site you are putting together, the photography is excellent. I am intrigued about the design project. A lot will depend upon the local conditions that you have but as an ex geography teacher I would say as much. My garden is nearly on the moors and presents some quite interesting challenges
