What is this we have all over our garden?

We have these bulbs in most of our borders and in cracks in the paving of our 80 year old house that used to be a plant nursery. We have been in the house for two years, and they have come up each year, but only have the green leaves, but no flower and they don't smell of anything.

Can anyone help me with what they are?

    Ooh, how exciting.  It looks like a spring onion to me but that would have an onioney smell.

    I had a similar situation with something that came up and never flowered and just as I was going to dig it up and compost it, I gave it one last chance and potted up some of the bulbs and it turned out to be Nerines.

    Not saying that's what yours is, but try potting some up and see what happens.

    I think you'll need to grow one on. There are many bulb seedlings that look very similar. Grape hyacinth is a real seeder about
