Personally used T&M, J P Parker and brookside nurseries so far, all fine.

but if your looking for just 1-3 of a couple of varieties then i highly reccomend dobbies that have plug stands, £1 a piece but you can mix n match

Just found this thread, just to say Crocus are excellent if a little expensive. Another way of increasing stock if you need a lot of plants is to buy one or two good specimens and propagate from those. Takes time but tremendous fun and great sense of achievement.

Any rather unusual echinaceas you would recommend Verdun? Ever grown tomato soup? After one with a rather orange tint to it.

This year I have used Sarah Raven and Peter Nyssen. Some of the SR plants have arrived and they are sturdy specimens in 9cm pots. Hopefully the PN ones will be similar. Have used TM in the past and was never very happy with the quality of anything I have purchased. Has resulted in phonecalls to complain. I'd rather have good plants at a higher cost than cheaper plants that arrive half dead. The majority of my plants are coming from PN (60) and more unusual ones from SR (25).

Wish I hadn't looked at Paddocks. Seen a few beauties I'm not sure I have room for but Want!

Long acres and Paddocks I have found to be very good and not that expensive with good customer services. Another one I used last year was Koemen based in Holland who supply a large amount of specialist perennials and bulbs and the shipping is quite reasonable compared to some uk online plant suppliers

I also use Sarah Raven, Dorset Perennials, Claire  Austin, The Plantsman's Preference, and Longacres. I’ve not heard of Paddocks but will have a look now as it’s been recommend by two people on this thread.
