Mystery plant
in Plants
Does anyone recognise this mystery plant? As far as I'm aware, in this patch I should have native bluebells, lily of the valley, and common snowdrops. The native bluebells are starting to come up but they're much further behind (I think that might be one in the bottom left of the picture). I'm a bit worried that this plant could be a Spanish bluebell or a hybrid (we're digging up whatever we can each year, but do still have some).
I don't want it hanging around longer than necessary if it's a weed!

Looks like a Narcissus, with formed flower heads.
When you don't even know who's in the team
S.Yorkshire/Derbyshire border
it doesn't look like either of the bluebells to me.
The leaves and the flower buds look wrong

Interesting, I don't remember having any narcissi, but my wife does have a habit of randomly planting bulbs in the borders (she didn't know what it was either).
I'm relieved to hear it probably isn't a Spanish bluebell though - most other things I can tolerate. Actually, if it's a narcissus it could be handy as only today we were talking about getting some daffodils. Looking forward to seeing what grows
Mine don't, not any of them.
I think punkdoc is right

The bluebell has bright flowers, this plant can not be it. It looks like a snowdrop parasite

It looks as if it might be a miniature narcissus of some kind.
Points for those who said narcissus.
