Replanting Honeysuckle
I have two Honeysuckle plants growing up a obelisk in the border but since having changes made to my garden to make it easier to maintain I would like to move them to grow up the trellis instead. Can anybody tell me if it's easy to move a Honeysuckle and how I need to go about it. Will I need to cut it back first before moving it? what sort of soil is best for them to thrive? Since they've been in the border they have grown ok but hardly any flowers (clay soil, maybe the issue here) which is another reason to move them!!

Thanks for the great advice. I will be doing that job soon. Glad to hear I can move it with relative ease and luckily it's not too big so hopefully won't be too tricky once cut back a bit. I have just bought fish blood and bone meal and have some new compost so am already half way there. Many thanks!!
Thats a coincidence as I looked at my ?? Pot bound Honeysuckle this afternoon and am thinking of repotting with a muchlargerpot.. Its still not large enough to train up my fence or a trellis.. I am thinking repotting will give it a boost..
I do have some pe;;eted poultrty manure I could put in the new pot along with some Growmore..
Fingers crossed..
