Advice on plants underneath roses

    Oh I'm glad to hear it's not very prickly, l was thinking of it by my front door. I've got a couple of peonies in my front garden border, one is the same shade as SDJ so that would look good, for a few weeks at least. The rest of the front is planted with rich oranges and blues, some purple too. There's a couple of Lady Emma Hamilton roses as well. I can see it fitting in well. I hope they sell it now, l really want one. Cheers Pete.

    Oh thanks, that'll be my plan b. I've got a credit note to spend at my local GC. They offer a 2 year guarantee also so my fingers are crossed they stock it.

  • Obelisks between the roses with herbaceous clematis, all flower July to September, lilac, purple, white, pink all combine beautifully with roses.
