Ideas for a semi shady fence line

Hi all

Could you give me some ideas for a climber? that can be grown on wires stretched across the concrete posts that will also grow in a large pot. This is in a south facing garden but due to existing trees which have to stay, there is only an hour or so of sun in the morning and something similar in the late afternoon, most of the sun is on the patio before it gets to this position. We were hoping to find something that has a scent as the patio is going to get plenty of use when it is warmer.
