Crocosmia Constance delivered with corms present on top of soil

in Plants
Hi
Has any one had Crocosmia plants delivered in a 1 litre size pot from a online plant supplier with the corms visible on top of the soil.
The name of the Crocosmia is Constance that is a beautiful plant with golden, yellow flowers in abundance. My worry is that the corms being where they are will effect the plants performance. They could be old corms from the plant not surely these should be removed before they are dispatched to a customer

Thanks for that. They have come from a good reputable plant supplier so just a bit surprised that corms would be visible
I will plant then a bit deeper to make sure?
The corms should not be on the surface, so as you say bury them a few cms. deep.
