  • Gosh that was quick....thanks a lot Hosta, never heard of that before!

My problem is that my Mum was a brilliant gardener and spent all day tending to her flowers, Dad always helped her but only after being instructed on what to do image!. Since losing Mum 10 yrs ago some of her beloved plants have had their names forgotten by Dad and myself. I am on a mission to transplant some , one way or another, to my garden so as to create some happy memories of her.

    Thanks again x

it is probably B. cordifolia, but might well be another.

It can get to be a big old clump and a bit woody over time. Do as you have done and take cuttings from older plants to start off nice young clumps.
