When ours used to visit they would spend nearly the same amount of time drinking as eating and that was in weather nothing like we have seen over the last couple of months. Unfortunately both hogs succumbed to cars but fingers crossed we'll have visitors again in the future. We'd better have seeing as they have a nice expensive hog house, a bank ladder I made and a load of leftover food! Oh, and the trail camera I purchased to watch them on to! Lovely little critters.
  • I am sure they will return Dave, they will find you and your food and home eventually.  We have a house for them - it has never been used although we usually have a certain 3 and sometimes up to five visiting each evening.

Got up for a pee this morning at 4.00 am and for the first time saw a hedgehog trundling up my road.....Much excitement. It was followed a few minutes later by a small young fox....Even more excitement.....Bristol
Everyone is just trying to be Happy.....So lets help Them.
  • That must have been exciting to see (the wildlife not the pee), and I really envy you the fox - as we don't have them here.  Did either enter your garden NewBoy?

Photo from our local rescue - a "friend" for a little orphan.

I might pass out from cuteness. Poor little thing.

I know @Fire, it just melted my heart. The rescue (like so many others), does a fantastic job.
