Black lady birds,red spots

Are the black bodied red spotted lady birds the ones who are destroying our native ones.?
At the moment I'm seeing more of these than the red with black spots.

There are native black ladybirds and also some Harlequins with that colouring.
Gardening in Central Norfolk on improved gritty moraine over chalk ... free-draining.
Harlequins, the 'baddies', usually have four orange blotches, evenly placed on the black background. The problem with them is that they not only eat the greenfly, but move on to any native ladybird larvae nearby.

Harlequins are very variable, hence the name. e.g. see pictures here: http://www.harlequin-survey.org/recognition_and_distinction.htm
I came across one in my garden last year.
I had no idea what sort of l/b it was - looked a bit scary, but I posted a pic and was advised it's a harlequin.
