What to do with Jasmine

Should I cut this back or leave it as there is new growth showing on some of the stems.image

    jasminum officinale - I pruned mine a little while ago because like yours, it was growing out of it's trellis and into the drain pipe. They grow fast and vigorous but RHS advises - 

    Jasminum officinale has a main flowering season of summer through until early autumn. As soon as the flowers have stopped is the best time to prune the Jasmine, as this will allow new grow to start before the onset of winter.

    So you still can but may lose some flowers as a result.
