Ginkgo Biloba seeds

I bought some Ginkgo Biloba seeds online and am attempting to do pretreatment in order to get them to germinate. They are supposed to have 4weeks at warm temp in 50/50 mix of sand and peat and then 8 weeks stratifying at cold. I am currently about 3 weeks into the warm period and yet many seeds seem to have germinated!

Is there any reason to not plant the germinated seeds now and forget about the rest of the pre treatement? And has anyone else tried growing them from seed? Thanks, Charlie.
