Dealing with a small height difference (6-7 inches)

I have a small 3.5 meter wide garden. There is a 6 / 7 inch height difference between my garden and my neighbors.

What sort of distance to I need to allow to level this off 'naturally' (without a retaining wall?). Can I have a soil slope over hardcore slop over say, 1.5 meters and have it stay in place?

Thanks,

Adrian

Hi Adrian - I wouldn't think that would be any problem. 6 or 7 inches is nothing really. image

Are you intending planting the slope ?  That will help to stabilise it anyway.

It's a place where beautiful isn't enough of a word....

I live in west central Scotland - not where that photo is...
