Has anyone had experience of the Trackr device now being advertised on the net it says its very small and can be used in laptops cars rideon lawnmowers etc and if stolen the items can be tracked on an app on your mobile phone

No experience of them, but from what I've seen on TV and read about this type of device, it really needs to be fitted at the manufacturing stage or it will be too easy to find and remove.
what happens if it's your phone which has been nicked?
It tracks itself in an infinite loop and eventually pops out of existence with a sound similar to a blue pixie bell (the non-conical type.)
