cutting back carex foliosissima

Hi all

I have ornamental carex irish green in my garden, it looks great, but I don't know when and how far I should cut it back if at all, or how to tidy it up.

I'm fairly new to this garden malarky so I would appreciate some advice from some experienced gardeners. thank youimage

    It is usually an evergreen sedge and does not require pruning, just gentle "combing" to remove any dead shoots.
