Sowing Aubretia Seeds

This may be a VERY stupid question but... If i sow aubretia seeds now I'm guessing they won't be flowering this year? Will I need to wait till next spring to see flowers?

Thankyou

they won't flower this spring. There are perennial plants that give a few late flowers from an early sowing. Don't know if aubrieta is one of them.

Perennials from seed isn't a quick job as a rule

  • Thankyou nutcutlet. I thought so. I should have sown them last year.

I have some zinnia and cosmos to sow that will give me flowers this year. I'm waiting till March as the packet instructs.
