Fruit tree lichen
in Fruit & veg
Please can anyone offer advice on how to remove lichen/mossy growth on current bushes and fruit trees. What available treatments would you recommend? Any advice would be appreciated.

It does no harm. It means you have clean air. I would leave it.

Thank you everyone for your valued replies and for offering the advice re my question. I take your knowledge of the subject on board and will leave well alone. Happy gardening everyone.
Only just seen this thread... it's a coincidence because I have a very thick growth of lichen on my old apple trees and I pointed this out to the tree surgeon who was doing some other tree-stuff in my garden. He said it is normal and "a good sign".
Thank you AuntyRach, further proof supporting previous subscribers advice.
