Choosing seeds

It's that time of the year again. I'm looking to start off some cucumbers to grow on in the greenhouse. I'd like a sweetish, compact grower as there are only two of us and often end up composting most of the normal size fruits. Any suggestions please ?

I'm going to grow cue's this year for the first time in the g/house.
I've read a lot of reviews on the web and I settled on Cucino F1 which produces small cucumbers and has an RHS AGM

Thanks Pete. It looks perfect but at £3.99 for 4 seeds I might look for other options. I usually lose quite a bit to snails and would like a few plants to survive.

:) fair comment - I was planning on planting 2 this yr and 2 next - which is not bad value if they avoid the slugs - and keep me in cue's for 2 summers

  • Marketmore  is my favourite cucumber to grow. Good cropper, never bitter, and about 8 inch length.
