Feeling very lucky after reading these comments, our local stables provides them in small bags and you help yourself to as much as you like!

The issue is that Natbat can't collect lisabj - needs to be delivered image

I'd like it delivered by the lorry load. But farmers use it on their fields.

    Devon.
  • Natbat, great transformation well done.

Be careful with woodchip - dont use too much as the bacteria that break it down will rob Nitrogen from your soil. Woodchip is best kept as a decorative surface mulch to keep in moisture & supress weeds, ideally spread over a porous landscape fabric.

    AB Still learning

  • Hello there, just reading through this and wondering if it is too late to spread well rotted manure on the veg patch? Any thought?

    Thanks.

Never too late if it's well rotted and ready to be dug in image
