I'm by no means a good gardner I'm only learNing so if any one has any ideas of what I can do to save it please let me know
thank you

These plants need a sheltered position in full sun and a moist but well drained soil. They are hardy to -5C and like acid or neutral soils, so not alkaline. Those shells are calcium and may be harming it by leaching into the compost.
I suggest you try planting it outside in a suitable spot as soon as the weather warms up and then give it a liquid feed of tomato food to help it along. Use rain or distilled water if your tap water is hard. Get yourself some horticultural fleece to protect it if frosts are forecast.
Thanks so much, that's a great point about the shells ill take them out ASAP! although they aren't in it that long, plant has been like this for months , but I will definitely try this tip and hopefully it will pick up,
Thanks so much
