Alstromeria summer breeze

I have left my plants in the garden untouched. They are not dying back because of the mild conditions.

Shall I cut them down to ground level March/April?

Yes I would to make way for newer, healthier growth. Mine is in a pot because they aren't frost hardy but yours seem to have escaped this winter image they recommend a heavy mulch for the first 1-2 winters

  • This is of interest to me as I split alstroemerias last year and put the in pots with grass mulch. On checking the greenhouse the other day I found them growing through the mulch and now I don't know whether to water them or feed them so I will look forward to seeing what you do
