Redwing that bird box is north facing but not in the garden it is next doors - only seen one bird go in and out for a bit then not again
Fairygirl can't use the tree did have a robin box near the back of them moved it this year as not getting used - the squirrels jump around the trees to the feeders on the fence - I have got a caravan house up in the trees hoping that will be used
Other than that I could use the train wire fence bottom of garden with wire around the box, it would face north - I do have one that I put back up on the last fence post on the left, the hole is on the side of the box faces north

I think it's too exposed and will get too hot. It is exposed on all sides.
The box on the shed looks ok provided the aspect is north or eastish.
Could you not use the tree that's there for one Ggirl - or do you have a box for that already?
I live in west central Scotland - not where that photo is...
