Tree for corner?
I recently removed a pesky Bougainvillea from this corner (see picture) on the concrete patio, east of the house. where I have a wood gate that leads to the front yard.
I would like to plant a small tree or shrub that does not have a lot of lower branches but grow over (taller) than the gate (6feet) so it can provide shade and decoration.Something that does not have deep, big difficult roots. I live in Miami, FL.
What are good options?
Thanks,

'You must have some bread with it me duck!'
thank you lamweedy, I think I will try to find a Florida forum (or at least a US one!)
AgostoMortal There is no reason for you not to stay on this one as well . Some of our the plant growing climate advice might be rather different. But plants are plants.
