hi i have a fern like plant coming out of a coconut shaped base any ideas what it is please.image

    I think it's a young Canary Island date palm?

    Or a Chilean Wine Palm (the base does look like a coconut on those.)

    Hi we call them a japanese  cycad,I have one in my garden south africa

    South Africa is where I have seen them. There were lots in Kirstenbosch.
