She was a sweetie! We used to put her in a nice little den in the shed at night. She soon understood this very well but she wasn't always keen to go to bed. Some of my best memories are of trying to catch her - she would run or flap just a few yards ahead, letting us catch up and then whoosh! off she'd go. After she left, every time we saw a duck my little girl would ask,"Do you think that's April?" I hope one of them was.
That's delightful Posy - they are sweet little things aren't they? I remember my parents having two in our garden when I was young, they would visit at the same time every year. They even went to the extent of buying them a paddling pool!
