Daffodils....too late?

Rosie31Rosie31 Posts: 483

Just found a big bag of mixed daffodil bulbs in the shed (the gardening equivalent of "fallen down the back of the sofa").  Too late to plant them now?  What do you think?

Plant them now if they're still firm -  they've got two chances and it's better than throwing them away image

If the ground isn't frozen I'd just put them in, mine are only slightly coming out of the ground now waiting for spring, so they'll likely have a chance to catch up! Perhaps could flower slightly later but who cares? Like Dove says, better than throwing them away!

Dig a hole and stick them in it. I found some today  in the garage. They are going in tomorrow if I can get a fork in.  I planted some alliums that were growing roots today as well.
