You're right nutcutlet it is lesser celandine. I should have remembered the border was full of it last spring. Pretty yellow flowers but it was everywhere. I'll be digging it up very carefully- maybe after its flowered. Thanks

They're so pretty
Hard to get rid of though so I don't try, just enjoy the flowers and the leaves don't hang around long
