First bunch of daffs
The first bunch is always the best!
Sunshine in the depths of winter and an inspiration for the future.
In London. Keen but lazy.

They are my favourite flowers. You have summed-up their beauty B3. I will always love them because they remind me of my Mum but they also signal the moving on of the seasons and the promise of more floral treasures to come.
Aw, you've got daffs already B3? Do you know what kind they are?
Love a happy daffodil?
I think the milder winter has prompted some of the early, small ones into bloom sooner than usual. Lovely to have some cheery little faces
Are they Tete a Tete, or Jetfire or one of the similar varieties B3?

I live in west central Scotland - not where that photo is...
No idea. Bought a couple of bunches in M&S. Nice delicate ones - not the king Alfred type.
Mine are just shoots a couple of inches out of the ground
Ahh thought you meant out doors was going to say! Earliest i've seen them down south is mid feb
If only!
I thought you meant your outside bulbs had flowered, too! I planted a small terracotta put I had with a bunch of yellow, spring-flowering bulbs and I assume it's the daffodils that gave been staying to shoot up for a few weeks - just waiting for spring!
Aah - I thought you meant growing too!
Most of the early cut flowers are imported all grown undercover of course. British growers will have earlier ones this year too I reckon. The little narcissus are always earlier anyway.

So did I ... glad to know my Tete a Tete's (just an inch or so tall so far) aren't lagging behind
Gardening in Central Norfolk on improved gritty moraine over chalk ... free-draining.
I have some Minnow in pots, but they're not very tall yet either Dove.
