Hot conservatory
Hi all,
I have a south facing conservatory that get the sun all day long. The room isn't heated in the winter and the window shelves are quite narrow.
I have a few small pots and I'd really appreciate some ideas for what I could put in them.
II'm a complete novice when it comes to gardening, so I'd prefer something that doesn't need a a great deal with looking after.
Many thanks, Jenny

it isn't about how hot it gets during the day, its about how cold it gets on a night, once the night time temperatures drop below 10 degrees indoors it limits what you can grow.
so the question is, how cold does it get on a frosty night outdoors?
Thanks for your reply.
It never freezes, quite certain of that.
There is a sliding, double-glazed door from the house, so I'd imagine some heat passes through thst.
Would be happy to add a small heater for frosty nights if absolutely necessary.
Cacti and succulents are low maintenance and mostly require little space. They tolerate heat, don't mind if you forget to water them, and the great majority will tolerate low temperatures, even below freezing in many cases. Echinopsis and Lobivia cacti have wonderful flowers, but the choice is endless.
