    Really pleased for you Sandra.
It's sooo good to watch it being installed.
I've hardly visited mine for the last few weeks - can't wait to get going in about a month.

Every success to you and your greenhouse

  • After my Halls greenhouse was totally flattened by recent high winds I had to embark upon exactly the same quest as you. I found the choice of greenhouses, utterly bewildering, if I'm honest. After visiting a couple of garden centres, which was a total waste of energy I started surfing the web looking for deals on a suitable greenhouse. After speaking to a few different companies I decided to buy myself a timber greenhouse, as I felt a heavier greenhouse would be better where I lived and would withstand high winds way better than an aluminium model. The best advice I got was from https://www.greenhousestores.co.uk, so that's where I bought my new 6x8 Swallow Kingfisher Greenhouse in a delightful painted grey colour. It was delivered and put up for me after 30 days, very impressive ! I love my wooden greenhouse and wouldn't ever entertain the idea of an aluminium one again.

Hi Sandra, how did your greenhouse turn out. What did you choose and are you pleased with it. I am looking at the moment and bewildered by choice.

@Nanny Beach I'm in the middle of putting up my greenhouse people one. Only 6x6 to fit the space, got the frame finished today. I'm a bit intimidated at the thought of putting glass in, I've never had a greenhouse so don't know whether it's tricky or if I'm overthinking it! Wondering whether it's a job I can do in the evening after work or to wait for the weekend. What do you think?

My old man says its easy, but he is very hands on, our neighbour who hates asking for any help, put up an 8 by 10 with toughened glass alone.
  • We bought a Rhino greenhouse a couple of years ago, I love it! The hardest part was preparing the foundation as our garden is on a slope. The installation was a pain, especially the roof was tricky to install and in hindsight I wish I had paid for installation.
But it's the best investment ever, my family always joke that if mum isn't in the kitchen, she's in the greenhouse.
