Winter spraying fruit trees

Dear Forum

My Bramley apple-tree is in need of a good old-fashioned winter tar-oil wash, apparently discontinued nowadays. Can you advise, please, on the best modern treatment against all the usual suspects?

Thank you

I use Vitax Winter Tree Wash if I feel the need.
I had a very bad case of scale insects on an acer a couple of yrs ago - Vitax done the trick.

    All the best

Knowledge is knowing that a tomato is a fruit.
Wisdom is not putting it in a fruit salad.
  • Thank you Pete. I will try Vitax and report outcome in due course.
