Help identify and save a plant

I have inherited a plant of unknown species and since moving it into my house i have been having problems. I dont know what im doing wrong but leaves are drying up and curling. 

Amy advice would be very appreciated! :)

    One of the marantas, sometimes known as prayer plants. They need moist but well drained compost, high humidity and filtered light. keep in an even temperature - not hot and definitely not cold.  They're also quite hungry and need regular repotting. You'll find lots of info online if you google 'maranta'.

  • It was high up on a shelf but above a radiator. before that it was on a shelf and direct sunlight was hitting it. ive moved it tona windowsill On a northfacing window so hope that helps.
