Raising pot height in pond.

    What about making some concrete shaped blocks. With the depth you need.  A frame could easily be made from wood and you could pour your own. I'm sure there will be instructions out there somewhere for such a project.

    Even an old basin or tub lined with plastic might do the job madpenguin.  Where there's a will there's a way, as they say!

    Maybe I could cut some polystyrene to shape?

    The weight of the baskets would keep it in place.
