I have found some daffodil bulbs that have already started to sprout.  Can I plant them in pots & if so, do I plant them at the top of the compost or bury them at the normal depth?

    Yes, get them in asap Lynne.  Bury them so the top of the bulb (ignoring shoot) has about 3-4 inches of compost above it when in pots.

    A trowel in the hand is worth a thousand lost under a bush.
