Ha ha Daisy. Love the picture that put in my head. Not laughing at the arthritis though. Wasn't it Charles Aznavour that used to hug himself so that from the back view it looked like someone was cuddling him?

Daisy I'm still blushing and I've been home an hour. Don't worry about "special" birthdays Daisy. I bet you don't look, feel or act your age. I don't, my inner me decided 24 was a good age and is happy staying so, l have never really felt properly grown-up. Anyhow all birthdays are special.

I feel a mystic kettle moment approaching. Spitting feathers here.

No tea for me thanks LB, I've just poured myself a Baileys over ice and cleared off into the conservatory.  Thing1 turned 20 today? and I have more Things arriving soon for her "Gathering"image.  That's another goat to add to the climp?image

Happy birthday for Sunday Daisyimage  I will strive to find something special for the birthday thread?

    A Climp of Capricorns.....it's official.  Although I like LB's 'Caprice of....', too.image

So I've invented TWO new collective nouns Caprice and Climp. How long will I have to wait until the OED accept them into the vocabulary I wonder?

Wow Kitty that was late. How big was she? I went to a mother and baby group with a lady who had given birth two weeks late. Her son was ten and a half pounds.

Ouchimage.   Not that big lily, she was my tiddler at 8lb 8oz.  Thing2 stepped it up a notch at 9lb 10oz two years laterimage.  She was 2ft long so a lot of it was legsimage

Cor, well done you. Both of mine were a week late, my son 8lb, and my daughter 8lb 12oz. Couldn't wait to get them out. Didn't like being preggers much, but so happy to be blessed with them. Wow 2ft is a long baby, did you have to cut the feet off her babygros? I had to with my son's his feet were so big!
