Parfin Green House Heater

Had a parfin green house heater for Christmas, however , put it on last night and it had produced soot ,loads of it , in fact everything is coated in it , will clean tomorrow
2 questions - what caused the problem and any advise on cleaning plants / bubble rap ?

Sounds like the setting is wrong - you need to make sure it's burning with a blue rather than yellow flame and ensure that the wick is trimmed every day.
Also you need ventilatiion to the greenhouse if you're using a paraffin heater or you'll be in danger of carbon monoxide poisoning when you enter.
