wisteria in a container

Hi everyone, last year I brought a Wisteria for the front of my cottage. The problem is there is no border, so I've had it in a decent sized tub, and its really grown which is great news. If it's fed regularly and pruned when it should be, will it be ok to be left in this container??

My daughter has one that I grew from seed years ago. It has always lived in a large pot as she has the same no border problem. Need a friend to water it if you go away though.
