Sorry Obelixx, I should have said they are a native. They appear all over our Place. They used to be called Parahebe perfoliata, but the botanists stuck their noses in. I still called then that, because Hubby knows which plants I’m referring to.
The last tree in my garden to give it's Autumn show is the largest of my Acers. It turns red, then orange and finally yellow before the leaves drop. I think it will be bare by next weekend.

After several hours, he’s moved and has been enjoying my carrot tops and Nasturtiums.
i think he is not so much injured as old. His ears look a bit chewed.
He does look old and battered. Have you any greens you can give him to save your carrots and nasturtiums?
