Delicious pics everyone. There are examples of planting combinations worthy of a medal I say (Victoria, Hosta, Fairy...)

My garden and I live in South Wales.

I'm not a fan of Iris either Hosta but those blues are true beauties.

the blue variegated iris came from a clump down by /in the lake. Here when we arrived so I moved a chunk up here. When the lake is full, part of the big clump is underwater, so it can work IN water, but most of it remains on the edge, albeit in very damp soil, even when the water level drops.

    Devon.

Very envious of Hostafan's pond and Irises.  Lots flowering here at the moment, but some are so fleeting, blink and they're gone.

A few things in flower. As you can tell I don't do planting schemes. If I like it I grow it and don't mind if I end up with more colours than a rainbow.

I love your garden KOG - used to have that tiny little geranium in the garden round the corner. Love your mossy display too  image

Hosta - they're sibirican Irises, which I'm sure you know anyway,  but hard to tell as there's so many.  They're looking great.

It's a place where beautiful isn't enough of a word....

I live in west central Scotland - not where that photo is...
