heroes chocolates

Every year we buy a large container of Heroes chocolates. Hubby can't eat the eclairs, so I have them.This afternoon I must of had 8 of them.About an hour ago my legs started iching  and came up in a blotches. Never had it before,has anybody else had it with these chocolates.

  • My son suffers very badly with URTICARIA. (Totally, Totally different from hives)!

    Some days we get up and can hardly recognize him as his face/lips are so swollen. 

  • Logan, if your worried, i would definately call the doctor on this And not mess about. My son has been rushed to hospital, numerous times over the years. fingers crossed all is ok ?

    Thanks for all the replies, legs feel a bit better.image Taken a anti-histamine tablet. My legs haven't been anywhere and I haven't changed my washing powder. My son had something like it once, but it was on his body.

  • Hope you feel ok soon. ? As I said, we have had to rush our son to hospital a few times with his whole body blowing up like a rubber doll and Emergency when his face and throat swelled! Glad your ok as it's very scary.....(It's Not just a case of Hives)!

  • HI Logan glad your better☺️. hes ok at the minute but he has 3 different tablets he has to carry and if it flares up, he has to go straight to a@e if it affects his throat. 4 years and they still can't figure out the cause. ?

    You need to check if chocolate is the culprit. I had a terrible attack of hives about 15 years ago. Two possible culprits were identified, peanuts or antibiotic, so no nuts [any type of nut, not just peanuts] in my diet for a couple of months till I could be tested. They tested me by scratching my skin and applying peanut oil to see if a hive formed. No reaction, so they tried penicillin and bingo that was the culprit so I have eaten all kinds of nuts since then.
