Seeds or cuttings for propagation?

Interesting question aym. Hmm...a cutting would be a clone, a copy of the parent, complete with all the flaws as well as the perfectionsimage

I would have to say I'd prefer the seed method. Unexpected surprises are much more excitingimage

    [1] some plants are self-fertile of course.

    However....... if you are perfect, you would not want the risk of inferior offspring, so surely it would have to be division?image

    Ha,haimage Punkdoc, I'm far from perfect so forgive me when I reject your idea that division is better.  Bob's method of cross pollination experiments are much more funimage

    Definitely seeds for me. Division has the potential for trouble similar to the clones. A disease could wipe out all those plants but pollination leads to hybrid vigour and interesting new strains.
