Hi, just wondering if anybody knows this flower/plant/weed? I noticed it growing along the coast here during the summer (around July) and took a picture as i thought it was lovely.
Thanks all

Looks like Lythrum salicaria, Purple Loosestrife.
In the sticks near Peterborough
It loves wet conditions so it would make sense! I brought some at Hampton Court in July. The bees adore it so it has a place in my garden
Thank you both. Looks like that's it. There's loads around here so i must try get some for my garden.
Happy Christmas!
